If you run a guest post or link insertion marketplace, LinkAcquire can put your offers in front of people who are actively comparing prices. This guide explains how to list your marketplace, what we need from you and how your listing will appear to users.
It is written for marketplace owners and partner managers. If you are a buyer, our backlink price checker guide is a better place to start.
What LinkAcquire is, from a marketplace’s point of view
LinkAcquire is a free backlink price checker. Users paste one domain or a list, and we show guest post and link insertion prices from several marketplaces side by side, cheapest first, with metrics such as authority scores, traffic and country.
We do not sell links and we are not an outreach agency. When a user picks an offer, they click through to your marketplace and buy there. That means the order, the payment and the customer relationship stay with you.
Offers are always sorted by price. A listing on LinkAcquire does not buy a higher position, so the way to win clicks is to have a competitive price for the sites people search.
Two ways your marketplace can appear
There are two listing types, depending on whether you can give us API access.
| Live prices | Quick link | |
|---|---|---|
| What you provide | Read-only API access with per-site prices | Your marketplace name and a link |
| What users see | Your actual price for each domain, with offer details | A price range label such as $$-$$$ and a Go button |
| Position | Sorted with other offers by price | Shown under the live results |
| Best for | Marketplaces with an API | Marketplaces without an API yet |
Live prices
With API access, we can look up each domain a user searches and show your real offers. Users see the price, the format (guest post or link insertion) and any extra details your API provides. This is the most useful listing for buyers.
Quick link with a price range
If you do not have an API yet, we can still list you as a quick link under the results. Users see a rough price range such as $$-$$$ and a button that opens your marketplace. When you later add an API, we can switch you to live prices.
What we need for a live price listing
To show live prices, we need a read-only API. It does not need write access, and we never place orders through it. The more of these fields your API returns, the better your listing looks:
- Lookup by domain: a way to ask for a specific site, or a bulk endpoint we can query.
- Per-site prices: guest post and link insertion prices, with currency.
- Extra costs: content writing fees and sensitive-niche surcharges (for example, gambling or crypto).
- Metrics: authority scores such as DA, Trust Flow and Citation Flow, plus traffic and main country.
- Offer details: link type (dofollow or nofollow), number of links and turnaround time where available.
- A page link: the URL of the site’s page on your marketplace, so users land on the right offer.
Rate limits are fine. Tell us about any limits or usage terms up front, and we will work within them.
Referral tracking
Every Go button to your marketplace can carry your referral or affiliate parameter. When a user clicks through and buys, your own tracking records the sale, and you pay a commission under whatever terms you offer.
Users pay the same price they would pay going to your site directly. We tell users that some links are referral links. This is how LinkAcquire stays free for buyers.
A referral program is not required for a listing, but it helps us keep the service running and adding partners.
The open-source adapter option
Alongside the hosted site, there is an open-source command-line price checker on GitHub under the MIT license. Each marketplace in it is a small adapter file that calls an official API.
If your marketplace offers API keys to your own customers, an adapter lets them check your prices from their own scripts and export results as CSV or JSON. You or your developers can write one and open a pull request, or we can help. Read why we made our backlink price checker open source for the background, and see the open source page for details.
How to list your marketplace on LinkAcquire
- Email us at linkacquire@mailo.com with your marketplace name and website.
- Tell us about your API, if you have one: documentation, the fields it returns and any rate limits.
- Share your referral details, such as your affiliate program link or parameter.
- Send a logo if you would like one shown next to your offers.
- We test the integration and let you know when your listing is live.
We add and remove partners over time, and we keep listings neutral. We do not make claims about your inventory or prices beyond what your API returns.
What makes a listing work well
Buyers on LinkAcquire are comparing prices for specific sites. Your listing performs best when:
- Your prices are accurate and up to date in the API.
- Writing fees and niche surcharges are clear, so there are no surprises at checkout.
- The Go link opens the exact site page, not just your home page.
- Your inventory includes real sites with real traffic.
Buyers also care about quality. Our guides on spotting inflated guest post prices and guest post marketplaces show what they look for.
FAQ
Does it cost anything to list my marketplace?
No. LinkAcquire does not charge marketplaces for listings. We may earn a referral commission when users buy through our links.
Can I pay for a higher position in the results?
No. Offers are always sorted by price, so a lower price for a given site is what moves you up.
Do you need write access to our API?
No. We only need read-only access to per-site prices and metrics. We never place orders or change anything on your platform.
If you run a marketplace and want your offers in front of buyers who are ready to compare, email us and we will take it from there. LinkAcquire is happy to start with a quick link and move to live prices when your API is ready.
