FAQ
Backlink and guest post pricing, answered
What links cost, what drives the price, and how the free price checker works.
What is a backlink price checker?
A backlink price checker shows what marketplaces charge for a guest post or link on a specific website. With LinkAcquire you paste a domain (or a list), and it pulls the live listed prices from partner guest post marketplaces so you can see the cheapest offer before you buy.
How much does a backlink cost?
There is no single price. A guest post on a small niche blog can cost well under $100, while placements on large news and media sites can run into the thousands. The price depends on the site's authority, real organic traffic, niche, link type, whether writing is included and extra fees for sensitive topics. The same site is often listed at different prices on different marketplaces, which is why it pays to check before buying.
Is LinkAcquire really free?
Yes. There is no paid plan, trial or credit card. Some marketplaces pay us a referral commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. Offers are always sorted by price, never by commission.
Which guest post marketplaces do you compare?
Right now: Collaborator. We are adding more guest post marketplaces, and each new one appears in your results automatically.
Where do the prices come from?
From each marketplace's official API, fetched when you run a check. Results may be cached for up to an hour to respect the marketplaces' limits.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
It is the marketplace's listed price at the time of your check. Marketplaces can change prices, add content writing fees or charge more for sensitive niches, so always confirm the total on the marketplace before paying.
What is the difference between a guest post and a link insertion?
A guest post is a new article published on the site with your link in it. A link insertion (also called a niche edit) adds your link to an article that already exists. Link insertions are often cheaper, and the older page may already have traffic and rankings. LinkAcquire shows both formats when the marketplace offers them.
Can I check prices for casino, crypto or CBD links?
Yes. Many publishers charge a surcharge for sensitive niches such as gambling, crypto, CBD, dating or forex. When a marketplace lists that fee, we show it next to the offer so you see the real cost.
Is LinkAcquire a guest post service or a blogger outreach agency?
No. We do not sell links or do outreach. LinkAcquire is a free price comparison tool. You order directly on the marketplace, which handles the placement.
How do I buy a guest post through LinkAcquire?
Run a check, open the offers for a publisher and press Go. The publisher opens on the marketplace, where you order and pay. We are not part of the transaction.
What does "your price" mean?
If a publisher or agency quoted you a price, type it after the domain (example.com 250). We show how much you would save by buying on a marketplace instead.
Why do I need an account?
Accounts keep the tool free and fast and stop bots from scraping partner data. You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email. There is no password.
Are there limits?
You can check up to 20 domains per search and up to 400 domains per day. Limits reset on a rolling basis.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account and use "Delete account". Your account is removed right away.
I run a marketplace or sell placements. Can you list my offers?
Yes, if you have an API. Write to LinkAcquire@mailo.com.
