Open-source backlink price checker
A small command-line tool for developers and SEOs who have their own marketplace API keys. Paste a list of sites, and it compares guest post and link insertion prices across marketplaces, right in your terminal.

Add a marketplace
Each marketplace is one small adapter file. If a guest post marketplace has an official API with per-site prices, you can add it in an afternoon and open a pull request.
- Official, documented APIs only. No scraping.
- Keys come from environment variables and are never stored.
- Zero dependencies, so it runs anywhere Python runs.
- Tests with saved sample responses for every adapter.
Open-source backlink price checker FAQ
Is there an open-source backlink price checker?
Yes. The LinkAcquire backlink price checker CLI is open source under the MIT license. It runs on your own computer, uses your own marketplace API keys, and compares guest post and link insertion prices for any list of websites.
Is the open-source tool the same as linkacquire.com?
No. The CLI is a separate, minimal tool for people who already have marketplace API keys. linkacquire.com is a free hosted price checker that needs no keys or installation.
Which marketplaces does the open-source checker support?
It ships with a Collaborator adapter. Other guest post marketplaces with official APIs can be added as small adapter files, and contributions are welcome.
Do I need to pay for the open-source version?
No. The code is free under the MIT license. You only need an API key from each marketplace you want to query, under that marketplace's own terms.
Is my API key safe?
The key is read from an environment variable on your machine and sent only to that marketplace's API over HTTPS. It is never stored or sent anywhere else.
Can I export backlink prices to a spreadsheet?
Yes. Run it with --format csv to save every offer as a CSV file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, or use --format json for scripts.
